The University of Pennsylvania graduate nursing program operates from the School of Nursing. The graduate nursing program offers Doctor of Nursing Practice and Masters degrees, and a post-graduate Certificate in nursing. The program offers instruction in Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) roles including Certified Nurse Midwife(CNM) and Nurse Practitioner (NP). Degrees are also offered in non-APRN roles including Nursing Leadership and Nurse Educator(NE) and other practice specialties. Degrees may be offered in Classroom and On-Line instruction formats. The progam offers Dual Degree enabling students to develop a deeper understanding in their area of study. Some degrees are offered on an Accelerated schedule enabling a student to obtain a Graduate Nursing Degree without first obtaining a Bachelors degree in nursing. Students may access several on-campus student organizations with a nursing or healthcare focus.
